Hi! The people present with YG and GD while waiting for the concert are Bigbang themselves and 2ne1...the one who jokes and stands up to greet them is Seungri...a lot of people have things to say against him, but no one can deny that he is very funny and a real animator

THANKS I can't wait to see the next one

So a little backstory about Team A’s Jinwoo and how he got into YG. So the guy who was asking both teams to introduce themselves is Seungri from BIG BANG. He owned a dance academy and Jinwoo was a student there. Seungri told him to audition for YG because he believed that Jinwoo has a lot of potential. So Jinwoo auditioned in 2010 and became a YG trainee. That’s why he was teasing and hugging Jinwoo like that because he was the one who discovered him. Oh and when Seungri said “don’t end up like me” to Jinwoo is because seungri is the maknae of BIG BANG. So he was in charge of being cute haha! Jinwoo is the eldest in Team A and he said he’s in charge of being cute haha! Which is not a typical thing for someone being the “eldest” member of the group. But Jinwoo embraces it cuz he does have that innocent look where you want to protect him. I mean that last episode when he was crying.. I don’t like seeing Jinwoo cry cuz he’s usually such a bright and positive person. Also, BIG BANG and even 2NE1 are really great seniors for WINNER and IKON in their careers even if some of them are not a part of YG anymore. Especially Taeyang, he still keeps in touch with WINNER and have such a good bond with them. I know you feel Mino has the taeyang vibes maybe looks and performance wise. But tbh in terms of personality and aura I feel Seungyoon is very much Taeyang. They are the calm, mature..yet confident members, who are very observant and direct when giving their opinions/perspectives. Honestly taeyang is the most low key member in BIG BANG..it doesn’t seem like it, but he enjoys his privacy. Which is very contrasting to his image and on stage persona. But he got a lot closer to Seungyoon throughout the years which is really sweet.

Ooooooooo I love all these little tidbits haha. Gives everything so much more context, as I'm not as engrossed in the history as others have been. Thank you so mucn for this!

06:00 LMAO 09:55 Totally agree with you. 28:22 I was going to say, "No, she's not YG's daughter" but you figured it out later. lol Bom (Park Bom) was part of 2NE1 together with CL, Minzy and Dara. 30:05 I don't know if you noticed but BI said to Dara "You're beautiful." 😂 Hanbin and his reaction to pretty girls is always funny. 30:28 You're right. T.O.P is an actor. He was also part of Bigbang, one of the best rappers in my opinion. Just a little fun fact: They used to tease BI by saying that Ju-ne will be his future brother-in-law because of Hanbyul. Of course, BI was having none of it. Nobody is good enough for his sister. 😂 Bigbang, 2NE1, Winner, iKON and other YG artists had a lot of interaction during this YG Family era. In fact, iKON used to perform in Bigbang's Japan Dome tour. Dara (2NE1) is actually close to Winner and iKON members. You'll see some of their interactions here and there (in social media mostly). She even performed a Filipino song with Jinhwan and it was posted in her Youtube channel.

Ahhhhh love reading all this, thank you! Seems like there was a lot more interaction between boy groups and girl groups during this time, as opposed to now. Why is that? Was it deemed more acceptable because they were all part of the same company?

Well YG family is what they called themselves since Day 1. So yes the 1st and 2nd gen and even 3rd gen like WINNER and BLACKPINK having the cute and playful sibling interactions was okay. The reason why WINNER and BP have a good relationship with each other is because they did train with since 2010. Jinwoo, Jennie, and Jisoo had vocal lessons together. I think also they would have monthly evaluations so the male and female trainees will see each other back then. But yeah later on even when their groups debuted, WINNER and BLACKPINK always supported each other and went to each others concert. Jennie, Mino, and Jinwoo are precious/sassy trio. Lisa and Hoony (Seunghoon) have a playful bro and sis relationship. Yoon (Seungyoon) has always said BLACKPINK is like their little sisters and they’re proud of all of their accomplishments. But he also said predebut BP was still a bit of mystery around the time. Yes they would see the female trainees in cafeteria, training rooms, and monthly evaluations. But at the same time even then they were kind of untouchable in a way. Even though they have seen, had convos, and pass them by in the YG building LOL. But yeah since the beginning even BIG BANG and 2NE1 have and still have such a great relationship with each other. All of the former and current 1st and 2nd gen YG artists female and male are still close with each other. I think Yang Hyunsuk/YGE higher ups started the whole policy of separation between female YG trainees and male trainees like late 2015-2016. So it was a bit more strict after WINNER, BP, and IKON debuted. So I guess they’re more cautious with the new generation. I understand it though.. there are some extreme delusional fans and even shippers or fans who don’t like any YG artists interactions. There’s some people who even think YG family is fake..and that YG artists don’t like each other it’s just “business”. Which is ridiculous but like I said they’re delusional. Yes YG family may not be as strong as it once was and of course some of them have left YGE. But even then, they left because of bad management. Not because of other YG artists.. no need to hate on other YG artists. 😆

Thanks for all that, I totally get it. I hate that there's a policy like that even in place, but I understand how vicious people can be when it comes to their favourite (and not so favourite) idols lol. I guess that’s why I love seeing so many of them do dance challenges together on TikTok! I love seeing different artists from different companies interact, I think it's so cool and I appreciate how they’re supportive of one another. I think they all understand no matter the company, they’re all on the same boat; just trying to make a living.
