Psy had a survival show a few years ago! It's called Loud and its how The New Six/TNX were formed. It was pretty unique because it was a joint endeavor between PNation and JYP, so two teams were formed at the end one for each company. The JYP team has not debuted yet. Loud is one of my favorite survival shows and definitely worth checking out.

Yes, it is possible to have solo debut before actual group debut. Yedam also had his solo debut before treasure debut. Yes, i think they already know their group name, WINNER.

Yes, it’s totally possible for a trainee to have a solo debut while still be training in a team in a survival show. Kang Seung Yoon aka Yoon made his solo debut at the same time of the survival show. But some many ppl also was confused too cuz he does have fans since his SUPERSTARK days wanting him as only a solo artist. They were not sure how his vocals and image (he’s known as the rocker/rockstar with husky voice) will fit in a group. But Yoon decided to hold off on solo activities and focus on WIN and being a part of TEAM A. Also, Yang Hyunsuk already said it in the beginning and most likely told the guys in the meeting. WHO IS NEXT = WIN whoever wins = WINNER. So yeah whoever wins the battle will become WINNER and debut while the other team might have to change members and wait to debut again.
