Street Fighter II - Ryu's Theme - Tabs Backing Track & MIDI (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track and MIDI files for my metal cover of Ryu's Theme from Street Fighter II!

Rhythms:

Style - jumping up and down fretboard, alternate picking

Difficulty - 4/5

Our riffs here can be a bit on the challenging side but they're an absolute blast to play! The trick here is nailing that main bassline that you hear in the intro riffs. For that part, you need to jump around the fretboard a bit at a reasonably high speed. But after that we have some big open chords that are significantly more chill to play. The other tricky part after that is our pre chorus where we're doing some fast power metal alternate picking. But if you take these slow then you'll for sure get them!

Leads:

Style - melodic, string skipping

Difficulty - 3/5

I'd say our leads here are a little bit more on the easier side than our insane rhythms. But we still have a few little challenging parts in here. Overall though we have some iconic melodies that are an absolute blast to play. And I think beginner players can nail much of this stuff too if you start it at a slower speed! The chorus melody in particular is one of the easier parts but that's one of the most satisfying melodies to play!
