Street Fighter II - Guile's Theme [METAL VERSION] (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here's the FULL VIDEO for my metal cover of GUILE'S THEME from Street Fighter II requested by Rob H!

It feels great to finally make a crushing metal cover of this iconic theme. This is probably one of the most memorable themes of all video game music and I can't believe it's taken me so long to do an arrangement of it. But part of that is cool because it's awesome to be able to take on this theme being the absolute best that I can be right now and give it the treatment it deserves!

It wasn't until I was in the trenches of this arrangement that I realized how beautifully melodic this theme is. There was so much potential for some huge melodic metal riffs on this and I absolutely utilized that in my riffs. It was such a blast to do some harmonized metalcore-like sections like on that pre-chorus. And the melodies all over this piece are just a blast to play. It has a pretty wild rhythm section as well. Overall it was actually pretty challenging despite being a theme that you can hum so easily.

Overall this was such a blast to make and it again just feels amazing to finally do it. Thanks so much Rob for the awesome request and thank you all for listening and for the amazing support. Let me know what you think if you haven't yet!
