DELTARUNE: Chapter 2 - "A CYBER'S WORLD?" [METAL VERSION] (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here is the FULL VIDEO! for my metal cover of A CYBER'S WORLD from Deltarune Chapter 2!

The moment this theme kicked in when I was experiencing the game for the first time, I immediately knew I wanted to make a slamming metal arrangement for this one! It's kinda similar to how Field of Hopes and Dreams hits on chapter 1. Just coming right out of the gate with an amazing area theme. I always feel like Toby KNOWS when he's about to drop a banger on you in the game and this is definitely that first "banger" song of chapter 2 I think.

So for my arrangement for this theme, I definitely wanted to capture that uplifting and swinging vibe of the original. It wouldn't work at all if I lost the elements of it! It was actually quite a challenge to play these lead parts and keep that swinging bouncing feeling to it. It's very triplet-feel based and you have to be SUPER tight to nail it. I think it turned out awesome though after a million attempts!

I also had a blast incorporating some outside things into this arrangement that I don't normally do. Mainly that beastly synth patch that I felt absolutely HAD to be there. It gives it that "cyber" vibe that the original has and it just wouldn't slam nearly as hard without it. I also had a blast putting in some melodic clean guitar parts to help bring some more dynamics into the arrangement.
