Astral Chain - Invaders from Another World [METAL COVER] (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here is the FULL VIDEO for my metal cover of Astral Chain's "Invaders from Another World" requested by Dylan B!

This was such an awesome request to take on! This theme is all about being absolutely sludgy, heavy, brutal, and all of the things that put a smile on my face when making or listening to music. It was a ton of fun to bust out the good ol 7 string for this one and drop it to the official lowest tuning that I've ever done on my channel: Drop A!

Not only was it super low tuned, but it brought me out of my comfort zone in a really fun way; putting some straight up djenty riffs in front of me and testing my abilities to dive into this really fun sub-genre of metal! But as the song progresses, we arrive right back into my save haven; some groovy melodic riffage as well!

The leads and overall production were also an absolute blast. Melodically it has a ton going on just as much as the riffs. I love the phrygian vibe of the whole thing giving it that other-worldly sound as well as the dense atmosphere provided by the synths in the background. That was a blast to figure out some cool synth sounds to try and incorporate into these huge riffs.

Overall it was such a blast putting this together and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!
