Hollow Knight "Hornet" - Tabs, Backing Track & MIDI (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track, and MIDI file for my metal cover of Hollow Knight's Hornet theme!

Rhythms:

Style - crazy chord voicings, alternate picking

Difficulty - 3/5

Our rhythms here aren't terribly crazy difficult but MAN are they fun to play! This composition is so well done and the chords throughout this piece are so creative and it's a really unique experience on guitar to play. The picking hand isn't doing anything out of the ordinary compared to other metal stuff so I think everyone should have a fun time with this! just make sure to take it slow if you're newer to playing and more technical stuff especially the alternate picking parts.

Style - speedy, fretting hand stretching, palm muting

Difficulty - 5/5

Our leads here though.. oh boy. They're quite the challenge! We're doing to be picking... A LOT of notes. There's a couple of sections on here that will put your picking hand through the ringer. But they're such a blast to play and it's a really fun challenge to try and get it super tight! The opening riff is particularly insane with the stretches.
