Castlevania - Vampire Killer [METAL VERSION] (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here is the FULL VIDEO for my metal cover of the absolutely iconic VAMPIRE KILLER from Castlevania!

It's been WAY too long since I've taken on a castlevania theme and I've been missing these iconic pieces of music so much. It feels amazing to get back to this series!

Vampire Killer is yet another iconic classic Castlevania piece. It has some hugely memorable melodies that stand the test of time, and like many other Castlevania pieces, has an amazing neo-classical vibe to it that translates perfectly to metal.

I felt perfectly at home putting this arrangement together. It follows some very metal-friendly chord progressions and I was able to really express myself in a comfortable way utilizing riff-styles and melodies that I've done in the past even on my own original music!

I also couldn't resist really going over-the-top with the orchestration on this one as well. It started off as just strings but I got a little carried away and couldn't help but introduce some harpsichord to the fold just to really double down on that neoclassical vibe. I love how it turned out!
