Hey everyone! Here is the FULL VIDEO for my metal cover of Zelda: Majora's Mask's "PIRATES' FORTRESS" theme!
I'm so happy to finally have this arrangement exist. I've been a fan of this ost since I was a kid and this theme in particular always struck me as being SUPER heavy especially for a Zelda theme where it rarely gets THIS brutal. Majora's Mask in general has so many heavier themes like this such as Ikana Castle as well!
I wanted to do an arrangement of this theme most definitely including acoustic guitars at the start and then you slowly bring in the intensity with the electric guitars. It works so well here I think and It all came together so smoothly! The melodies on this piece are also a blast to play on guitar in general. Ringing out those notes gave me a ton of opportunity to really dig in and get expressive with the leads which is something unique about these slower atmospheric pieces!
