Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track and MIDI file for my metal cover of ROSES from Friday Night Funkin!

Rhythms:

Style - groovy, technical

Difficulty - 4/5

Our rhythms here are definitely some of the more challenging parts of this arrangement. We begin with our main riff which focuses on some very precise picking and palm muting then opening it up a bit into the main riff. Then our verse is SUPER technical with some string skipping alternate picking in there. And our chorus is a similar vibe with some fast-paced alternate picking and some fretting hand stretches. Take these riffs slow and have fun!

Leads:

Style - melodic, odd intervals

Difficulty - 2/5

Our leads here are definitely on the more chill side compared to our rhythms. We'll be spending 90% of our time in the 10th position on our fretboard (if you're in Drop C) and not have to move around a lot. The only major difficulty here is just in how odd some of these wacky intervals are in these licks. They're a ton of fun and I think newer players will have a blast getting some lead chops on this stuff!
