Yakuza 0 "Pledge of Demon" (Kuze Theme) [METAL VERSION] (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here is the FULL VIDEO for my metal version of the absolutely amazing PLEDGE OF DEMON theme from Yakuza 0!

I was instantly hooked on this soundtrack when you guys were showing me some of the songs during my shredstreams on Twitch! I knew immediately that this one was the theme that I wanted to cover first. (But perhaps I will cover more :O)

I went into this arrangement wanting to absolutely knock it out of the park. The original has a very melodic and heavy vibe so I definitely had to capture that in my own way. I changed up quite a bit on the drums this time around, adding in some double bass sections but also simplifying other parts. Pretty much just interpreting it in my own way. The guitar parts were a BLAST to play. It felt very natural for me doing those melodic lines as that's a style of playing that I love to do in my own music as well!

Mixing wise, it was a BLAST to mix this one. The guitars are just absolutely rocking throughout this song and I got to just let them be loud and crushing throughout this whole mix. It's always an amazing feeling when you hear your guitars loud and clear rocking out!

Overall I had such a blast with this and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!
