Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track, and MIDI files for my metal cover of Mega Man X6's "Blaze Heatnix" theme!

We have some SUPER fun but definitely some very challenging parts in here. However, we do have a few parts that are more beginner friendly, so even if you're new to shredding, you should give it a shot at a slow speed starting off!

Rhythms:

Style - thrashy, fast, alternate picking

Difficulty - 4/5

Our rhythms here are fast, very fast! However, they are mainly playing power chords so we can at least primarily focus on picking and be able to play the riffs relatively well in a thrashy style.

We begin with the first riff which immediately introduces the vibe of the riffs here. All alternate picked / palm muted single notes.

We now have our verse. Which is another super thrashy riff here. All single notes again and palm muted.

For our pre-chorus, we spice it up with some power chords jumping up and down. This part is definitely more intensive on the fretting hand sliding the chords around.

Now have our chorus, where we're, again, thrashing our butts off with some super fast picking here!

Now finally, we have the pay off riff. The breakdown!!! This riff is super fun and it's definitely the most chill riff to play speed-wise. However, sliding the chords around is still pretty challenging here.

Leads:

Style- odd intervals, very fast alternate picking

Difficulty - 5/5

Our leads here are definitely challenging as well! We begin with some big chords here. All about moving the chord shapes around here.

Now for our verse, we have some more chords here with some bursts of fast picking in between here. This part is surprisingly one of the easier parts but it's still pretty dang challenging!

Now we have our pre-chorus where we move 2 shapes up. This part is very straight forward.

Now we have our chorus, where it's blisteringly fast alternate picking. This part is super fun if you can get it down. But I think everyone should try this and start SUPER SLOW! This is one of those things that will be a great tool to practice if you take it slow and with a metronome. Give it a shot!

Now we have our next verse after the breakdown, this part is probably the easiest part of the leads. Just a really fun melody here.

Now we have our chorus, where it's remaining pretty chill but now we're doing some hand stretches here on the fretting hand.

That's about it! If you have nay questions about any of these parts, feel free to shoot me a message on here or discord. Remember to take them slow at first! It's a very fast song haha.

Enjoy and rock on!

~ Jack
