Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night "Luxurious Overture" - Tabs, Backing Track, and MIDI (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track, and MIDI for my metal cover of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night's "Luxurious Overture" theme!

Tuning is 7 string standard for rhythms and Standard E for leads

Rhythms:

Style - heavy chugs

Difficulty - 2/5

Our rhythms here are super fun and straight forward for the most part. We do have a couple of tricky alternate picking sections but on the fretting hand it's super straight forward for the most part. 

We begin with our fat main riff which is just chugging away on the low string with some open chords to tail it off.

We then go into our verse cont after the acoustics where we begin doing some chords and some fast alternate picking.

We now have our chorus which is another simple chugging riff. This part is probably the most straight forward.

Then finally we have our break and buildup section. Playing some more super fun power chords here.

Leads:

Style - neoclassical, shred

Difficulty - 3/5

Our leads here start to bring some genuine challenge to this piece. However, the main melody and a few other melodies are very straight forward that newer players should still try to take some of them on!

We begin with the iconic main riff which is the easy part of this. Super fun and epic melody here.

Now for our verse, we spice it up a bit by doing a neoclassical phrase up the B minor scale.

We now have our verse cont which is very similar to the first part of the verse, only moving downwards.

Now we have our chorus where it gets very difficult. This call and response section is all about sliding down a B minor phrase.

We now have our break where we're playing the main melody again and building up to the highest point of the song with a harmony.
