Hey everyone! Here is the FULL VIDEO for my metal cover of the absolutely epic "Birth of a God" theme from FF7!
I've been getting a TON of requests for this one on my other FF7 covers. and I totally get why. This theme is perfect for metal. It's insanely driving and has a lot of epic parts. It's an epic boss theme towards the end of the game that really gets you hyped for what lies ahead.
I went into this arrangement just wanting to go all out with it. No clean parts, breaks, or anything. Just balls out metal all throughout. I had a ton of fun working on the rhythm guitars and the drums trying to capture and even amplify the driving nature of the theme.
The leads were a BLAST as well. Nobuo's melodies are so unique and very complex. He comes up with stuff that I'd never think of and it's so fun to learn how he does it.
