Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track, and MIDI for my metal cover of Fury 3"s "Into the Fray"

We have some really fun riffs in here and some lead parts that are great for newer players!

Rhythms:

Style - drop tuned, technical picking, breakdowns

Difficulty - 4/5

Our rhythms here are significantly more challenging than our leads. This is primarily due to the complicated picking patterns of most of the riffs. There's a lot of off-beat accents here that give it that driving feel. This makes them super fun though!

The main riff is the... well.. main riff we're talking about here. This will be the most challenging one for sure with its off-beat nature.

We then have our pre-chorus riff which is slightly simpler and is more about having that aggression and attitude in the simpler riff.

We then have our solo section which is a slightly more chill part of the arrangement where we ring out some big open chords!

Leads:

Style - pentatonic melodies, percussive harmonies

Difficulty - 1/5

Our leads here are WAY more chill than our rhythms on this arrangement. They're playing some super catchy melodies that compliment the insanity that is the rhythm guitars making the whole thing come together.

We begin with the main melody played in the higher octave, it's a basic pentatonic shape that's super memorable and very fun to play.

We then simplify it for our pre-chorus just slamming down some hard picking.

Later on, we have our break section where we introduce our chorus melody. Keeping that pentatonic shape but adding a bit more flavor to it going into the climax of the arrangement. The climax has our harmony guitars slamming some sticatto notes building up the energy going into the solo.

That's about it! I hope you have fun learning some of these riffs and melodies. Feel free to message me on here or discord if you have any questions!
