Red Alert 2 "Destroy" - Tabs, Backing Track, and MIDI (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track, and MIDI file for my metal cover of Red Alert 2's "Destroy Theme!"

We have some super fun riffs and licks in here that are great for all skill levels including beginners. Let's break them down!

Rhythms:

Style - chuggy power chord riffs

Difficulty - 2/5

Our rhythms here, for the most part, are super straight forward and awesome. The intro riff is, in particular, a great riff for beginner players to get going on some fun metal riffs. It's all palm-muted and gets you down picking hard at a reasonable speed.

We then go into some more challenging picking patterns going into our chorus. The chorus riff is another super easy riff but it has some alternate palm-muted picking which can be a bit challenging for new players.

The breakdown after the chorus is probably the most fun part of this song. It's just 1 note and you slam it down super hard here.

Leads:

Style - octaves, bluesy

Difficulty - 1/5

Our leads here are also on the easy-side for the most part. We begin with some reinforcement for our rhythm guitars on the first main riff. We then separate ourselves from the rhythms epic octaves during our chorus. 

Next main lead part is our break where we're bringing out a super fun bluesy melody that on my version has some really fun effects on it. 

Then lastly we have our outro riff that is similar to our break riff only in the key of D minor now and slightly re-arranged. This is another super straight-forward and fun lead part!
