Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track, and MIDI file for my metal cover of Sonic Battle's "Chaos Battle" theme!

Rhythms:

Style - drop-tuned groove

Difficulty - 4/5

Our rhythms here are actually pretty challenging! Let's break down the parts.

We begin with our main riff which the challenge here is the off-beat picking and getting some interesting chords down in a fast bpm. It's super fun to play once you get it especially the tail end with that pentatonic bluesy descend.

Next up is our verse riff. this riff is more challenging on the right hand if anything. The picking here is extremely technical and precise. Luckily the fretting hand is taking more of a backseat here and focusing on playing some awesome riffage.

Then lastly we have our chorus, which features some big open 9th chords. This part is definitely more chill than the previous riffs, and it's a ton of fun and a nice reward for the insane riffing happening earlier.

Leads:

Style- wacky chords, melodic

Difficulty - 3/5

Our leads here are considerably more easy than our rhythms. We begin with an intro guitar that's easily the most challenging part of the song. The tuning on this guitar is different than the rest of the lead guitars so it might not be worth tuning your whole guitar just to play this one lick.

Next up is our main riff where we're playing some tricky chords here. This part's challenge is sliding the chord shape way up and down the neck.

We then go into our verse riff which features some pretty wacky chords. But overall, this part is super chill and very satisfying to play!

Now we have our chorus, which is definitely the most fun part of this song to play (everything is fun but this is just an amazing melody to play). We double it with 2 octaves and let the expressive melodic playing take away. Learn this if anything on this song!

That's about it! If you have any questions, feel free to message me on here or discord.

Enjoy and rock on!

~ Jack
