Destiny 2 "Forge Ahead" - Tabs, Backing Track, and MIDI (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track, and MIDI file for my metal cover of Destiny 2's "Forge Ahead" theme!

Overall this is a super heavy and straight forward song that's great for newer players to get into some serious riffing!

Rhythms:

Style - palm muting, big chords

Difficulty - 1/5

Our rhythms here are a ton of chug-tastic funu and super great for newer players to get into palm muting.

We start off with some big open chords and then start getting our right hand going on the Intro cont. before the opening break.

We then go into our break which begins the palm muting-fest. This is all down stroking goodness here.

We then go into our verse which we're doing chugs as well as muting the strings afterwards.

We then open up the notes in our Verse cont. with the same notes only open this time.

Then finally we have our chorus which features some big open chords.

Leads:

Style - palm muting, interesting intervals

Difficulty - 1/5

Our leads here are also great for newer players but also have some great melodic moments that all skill levels can enjoy here.

We begin with some opening melodic harmonies then going into our Intro cont. we bring in the octave lead guitar.

In our break, we're highlighting the rhythm guitars with some minor 3rd harmonies.

Now for our verse, we're doing a cool melodic metal melody here that's mostly muted and features some pinky-usage.

For our chorus, we're playing some more octaves and building it up with some big harmonies at the end!
