Hey guys! Here are the tabs, backing track and MIDI file for my cover of U.N. Owen was Her? from Touhou!

We have some super catchy and fun riffs and licks here to jam!

Rhythms:

Style - thrashy

Difficulty - 4/5

Our rhythms difficulty is interesting because the riffs themselves aren't terribly challenging, but the time signature changes of this song can really through your head through a loop until you get it down. So we have some really fun and unique timing here to work on!

Our main riff is in 5/4 timing and features some fat chords that evolve into alternate picked 16th notes. You will want to take these notes slow and make sure you're palm muting them super tight!

We then go into our main riff where we're chugging away at some fat power chords. This is one of the easier sections in 4/4 timing.

Now we have our verse riff where we're playing the main chord to the hook melody. These chords are pretty wild but luckily there's not a whole lot going on with the picking hand so it should be pretty doable at slower speeds!

Finally we have our chorus section in D minor where we're playing some super thrashy melodic power chords here!

Leads:

Style - percussive picking, interesting intervals

Difficulty - 5/5

Our leads here get pretty dang wild super quick. We start off with one of the hardest licks in that 5/4 timing. This features a lot of hammer ons and pull offs.

We then go into our main riff where we're beginning to right hand mute in between notes giving it that percussive sound.

Next up is the melody you're all here for haha. The amazing melody here is super fun to play. It has a few crazy intervals here so it might be challenging at full speed. Take it slow at first! Also make sure to do the percussion in between the notes to give it that epic driving sound.

For our pre-chorus and chorus, we're playing some more hammer ons and pull offs like the intro.

Now for our solo, we're busting out some insane alternate picking into some melodic octave slides. We then alternate pick back up and end it with a melodic phrase.

The second part of the solo gets super thrashy where we do a bluesy-thrash slide lick and then end it with some really fast sweep + taps!

That's about it, if you have any questions ,feel free to hit me up on here or on discord.

Hope you have fun and rock on!

~ Jack
