Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track, and MIDI files for my metal cover of the Necromancer theme from Castle Crashers feat. SixteenInMono and FamilyJules!

We have some super fun riffs in here and some super straight forward and great leads for newer players!

Rhythms:

Style - sliding power chords around, heavy palm muting

Difficulty - 2/5

Our rhythms here can be a tad challenging due to the raw speed of this track. But the parts themselves are super simple when played at lower speeds. I'd definitely recommend starting at a slower speed if you're a newer player and working your way up!

The key here is getting the pauses down perfectly for the breakdown parts and the pauses in the verse riffs. You can use your right picking hand to mute the strings in between the notes to make it super tight and percussive sounding.

Leads:

Style - straight forward melodies

Difficulty - 1/5

Our leads here are super straight forward and fun. That chorus melody is a perfect melody for a beginner player looking to learn a super fun lead part. Just take it slow as always if you're new to these kinds of licks!

The lick on Main Riff 2 is absolutely bonkers and should be taken at slow speed especially if you're new to fast legato playing.

And for the solo section, we're doing some super fun parts here. We start off with a fat bend and then descend down a melodic minor line. We then go back up with some palm muted sixteenth notes that are alternate picked. Now it's time for the sweeps! We do some insane sweeps here with some taps incorporated. take these slowly! We come out of the solo with a super stretchy dissonant line and that wraps it up!

I hope you have fun learning some of these riffs and licks. If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up on here or on discord.

Have fun and rock on!

~ Jack
