Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track, and MIDI for my metal cover of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker's "Dragon Roost Island" theme!

Rhythms:

Style - melodic technical parts, open chords

Difficulty - 2/5

Our rhythms here are pretty varied as far as difficulty. We start off with some strumming acoustic guitars playing a couple of wild chords in there that you will have to use your pinky for but we also have some traditional chords in there too. We then introduce our rhythm heavy guitars with a big open chord riff that's super epic.

Next is our heavy verse riff which is the most technical part of the rhythm guitars for the song, it's all about ringing out some really fun chords and getting some tight palm muting between them.

We then go into our breakdown which is similar to our verse only a bit more simple and heavy.

Leads:

Style - melodic

Difficulty - 1/5

Our leads here are super straight forward and a ton of fun for all skill levels!

We start off with our main awesome melody coming in over the acoustics and then we progress into it becoming heavier.

The chorus melody is super straight forward and easier, maybe even easier than the verse melody.

We then go into our heavy verse where we play the previous verse melody only an octave lower now.

Lastly we have our solo where we bring out some insane shred. This is just about 5/5 difficulty but I don't count solo's towards overall leads difficulty. The solo here starts off with some slides and then a fun little descending lick. The next phrase is some big open chords similar to the dragon roost main melody only incorporating some minor feel into it. And then we have our absolutely insane sweep / tap picking section that is absolutely nuts. At least it's only 3-string sweeps! Then we end it with a burst of alternate picking down the C-minor scale.

That's about it! If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message on here or on discord.

have fun and rock on!
