Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track, and MIDI file for Bloodlines. Overall this whole arrangement is a more chilled out one that a lot of newer players can find some really fun things to jam to!

Rhythms:

Style - funky up-beat palm muting

Difficulty - 2/5

Our first main riff is our verse where we do those funky-style palm muting emphasizing a lot of off-beats and doing some djenty-style chugs. It's a ton of fun and the fretwork here isn't terribly hard so it will allow players to focus on honing in that picking hand. It's important to pay attention to the palm mutes here and know what notes to mute and what to have open. that's how you achieve that funky effect!

Our pre-chorus riff next is the same concept only now we're spicing it up with a 5-7 hammer on in between to make it a bit more challenging. We then go into some fat open chords.

Finally for our chorus, we simplify it down to some cool 9th chords and then end the chorus with some heavy power chord chugs!

Leads:

Style - interesting intervals, funky backing leads

Difficulty - 2/5

Our leads here are also super chilled out and great for players of all skill levels!

That being said, our intro clean part here is SUPER challenging. This is a very straight up funk riff that is all about the ghost notes and palm muting. Pay close attention to where the x's are on the tab for this.

But after that super challenging part, we move into the main melody on the verse which is very chill and a ton of fun! It's a tad stretchy on the fretting hand but the speed is very do-able.

We then add in some layers for the pre-chorus, same idea as the verse however only with some octaves thrown in as well.

Then finally we have our chorus which is another simplified melody that is actually even a tad easier due to it's heavily melodic nature.
