Hey everyone! Here is the completed video for my METAL COVER of the absolutely jamming Chrono Trigger Boss theme featuring the homie FamilyJules on solo guitar!

This theme and I go waaay back. I remember before even doing video game metal, I was in love with this theme and I would listen to it all the time. I initially took on a metal arrangement of this theme way back in 2012 and it was one of my proudest covers of all time for a while. I am still so proud of this arrangement that I wanted to go back and take it on with my improved playing and production skills that I've gained in the last few years!

I'm so insanely proud of how this turned out. I tried not to change too much but I did throw in a couple of extra shredding lead lines in there and incorporated some more layers with the rock organ and additional guitar parts. And of course, it was an honor to have my friend Familyjules come in and shred our faces off! I wanted Jules involved in on this because he always tells me how this original cover of mine in 2012 was inspiring to him and I was of course very inspired by his work back then too. It felt right to have him on to celebrate our friendship and that we're still jamming video game metal years later.

For those who didn't know, I actually already covered this theme WAYY back in 2012 and I'm still super proud of the arrangement that I put together for it. However, I've progressed a ton in my playing and production skills so I felt that I really needed to bring some 2019 new life into this cover and really bring the shreds in on it! Coming on board for this new rendition is my homie FamilyJules! Myself and him have been friends for so many years and I felt that he should lay down an amazing solo on this arrangement as he was super into my older arrangement of it as I was super into his arrangements at the time as well. Felt so great to celebrate our friendship and how much we've both achieved in this way.
