Hey everyone! Here are the tabs, backing track, and MIDI file for my metal cover of Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn's "Eternal Bond" theme! The arrangement of this original theme goes through some of the most fun chord progressions that I've ever seen and it's a ton of fun to play on guitar! Let's break down the parts.

Rhythms:

Style - moving chords around, unique chords, chuggy

Difficulty - 2/5

Our rhythms are interesting on this arrangement because I wouldn't call them necessarily easy on the musical side of things, but technically their isn't anything here that's super challenging so it still earns the 2/5 rating. The coolness of these rhythms is just how different it is to your standard metal riffs since this theme is so orchestral and moves around so many cool progressions.

The important thing with the majority of these parts is that you're letting the chords ring out as you're individually picking notes in the chord. You can see in my video how I position my fretting hand to let all of the strings ring out as I play the notes of the chord. This is a big melodic metal / black metal technique that's used.

Leads:

Style - octaves, bending, higher frets

Difficulty - 2/5

Our leads are fairly straight forward here with a very small chunk of some challenging parts. The whole arrangement follows a very similar format with the leads playing very violin-like passages that are way up there on the higher frets and for some parts, I elected to do some bending to get a lot of emotion behind those super melodic phrases.

Then later on in the breakdown, we go the complete opposite way and do some beefy lower octaves that are a ton of fun and super straight-forward!
