(NEW!) DAKKII PATREON 2024 (Patreon)

Hello everyone! Long time no talk again!

2022 and 2023 have been the two best years of my art career. This is the most success I've ever seen, and I can't thank all of you who have supported me enough for it. Thanks to you I've been able to really expand my creative capabilities and focus more on making things, and slowly replacing my 5+ year old equipment. I'm so blessed to have supporters like you who have allowed me to do what I love, creating things for people to enjoy, and be financially stable enough to chase those dreams!

However, with a new year comes a new me, new goals, and challenges. Although this year was great, it was far from perfect. There's quite a bit of research I've been doing, and getting feedback from you all has greatly colored the decisions I'm going to make this year.

This Patreon will be undergoing the biggest change. Near the end of this year, the number of Patrons have been decreasing, and that's on me. I'm not as active on Patreon as I would like to be, and there really isn't a sense of EXCLUSIVITY here. So in 2024, I plan to put much more love into my Patreon page. Tons of Patreon-exclusive things are going to be dropping over the course of this year.

I know for non-Patrons and Free Members that might sound a little scary, but I implore you to continue reading!

Here's a summary of the biggest changes:

QUARTERLY RELEASE SCHEDULE
In order to better plan for release dates and to pace myself, 2024 will be split into four 3-month periods called Quarters. Within these Quarters, regular exclusive content will be released, and it will become the main way by which everything I do will revolve around, including Inactive Months, Holidays, Streams, and other special events.

With this new release system, I hope to be able to find a balance between life, work, and my passions.


NOW HOSTING ON DISCORD
Due to sites like Kemono.Party and others ILLEGALLY uploading my work to their sites for free, I have decided to move all of my future Patreon posts to my Discord Server. You'll be able to find all the images, download links, videos, and more on my Discord Server's Patron-Only channels.

From here on, new Patreon posts on this site will have a preview and a link to join my Discord Server, along with a screenshot that shows the channel you can find the content in. All exclusive content will be found within my Discord Server.

As for content that has released in the past before this massive update, those will be uploaded to the appropriate Discord channels.

This most likely won't stop ALL the leaks, but this will prevent sites like Kemono.Party from uploading the exclusive posts directly to their sites. In the future, I may employ more methods to deal with leakers, and I will make announcements of said plans as they become relevant.


TIER ADJUSTMENT
In light of this year's earnings, I've realized that having a $1 Tier (after all the fees), isn't very profitable for me. However, I do not want to remove the $1 Tier, as I believe it is a great way for people who want to support me while still being on a budget. However, as my project expenses for next year look to increase, I believe I need to do the same with the current Tier format.

So, Tier I will remain $1/month—but it will become a tip jar for people who want to support me without all the extra benefits. However, you will still get a Discord Role and access to the special Discord Patreon Chat in where I'm the most active and share all kinds of ideas and brainstorm with my Patrons!

Tier II will become the new base Tier for benefits, starting at $3.50/month. Tier III will become $5/month, and the new Tier IV will keep the same $10/month. However, some of the benefits are getting moved around and adjusted to fit this year's new Quarterly release system. You can scroll to the end of this post to see the new/adjusted benefits and how they stack up from Tier to Tier. The new Tiers will become active sometime after this announcement has been made, and I will make another one once the transition is complete.


DAKKII STOREFRONTS
For those that do not wish to pledge, but still want the benefits, I'll be selling most of what I offer on Patreon on my Storefronts!

Storefronts are the platforms on which I sell my art, and other things like brushes or assets, should I make any.

WEEKLY COMICS
Weekly Comics will be coming back next year, as I need to take the rest of this month (and maybe a bit of January) to plan and pepare for this new system by creating backlogs of content, I do ask that you all bear with the dry spell until the new year!

With the biggest project I have being Timeless—a Serialized Comic—I can only manage running one or two Weekly Series per Quarter. Which seems like a pretty fair timeframe for my current ability and current position in life.*

But I have far more than just two Series, and more coming down the line. So comes the introduction of Dakkii's Focus Polls!

*The first Quarter will be a test Quarter. If running two Weekly Comics becomes a bit too much for me, I'll have to do only one per Quarter. Perhaps if I ever get to do this full time, I may be able to do two Weeklies consistently! So if you can, Support! :D


DAKKII'S FOCUS
Dakkii's Focus is a polling system that shows me what Comics you want to see from me during a Quarter. Once all the votes are tallied, First and Second Place will be the comics I work on over the course of the next three months. At the beginning of the third month in the Quarter, though, another Dakkii's Focus poll will launch, and the voting will start all over again for the next Quarter.

This means that the progression of Weekly Comics will be dictated by Patrons. YOU guys choose the story (or stories) you want to see start or continue!*

There may be some Quarters where I'll only work on one Weekly Comic. There may be some Weekly Comics that may run for multiple Quarters. It all depends on what you guys want to see! I plan to release a page for each comic each week of the Quarter (except the very first week of each Quarter, as that will be a buffer week).

That means a Weekly Comic will be gettng 12 pages over the course of three months!** As always, Tier II Patrons and above will get access to these pages three days before they are released Publicly.

*There are special cases for new Series, in which they will take one of the two Slots immediately, and you all will be able to vote for what comic gets the remaining one.

**During Inactive Months, no comics will be released. However, planned releases may still be posted if they are scheduled/automated.


SERIES FANART
The previous Fan Art polls I launched I—unfortunately—never finished, because I had lost the motivation to do them. I deeply apologize for that. I believe I lost interest because they were a bit too far out of what I normally draw. So instead I decided to make a compromise.

Series Fanart Polls will be polls I launch for the Comic Series (or AUs) that I draw, and allow Patrons to vote for characters for me to draw within these Series. This should allow me to still makenon-comic content for these AUs and be excited to finish them.

Series Fanart Polls will last a week from the day it's posted. The finished images will be pubic for all to see, but the voting is exclusive for Patrons, as normal.

There's no set schedule for Series Fanart polls, though I aim to do at least one per Quarter.

.PSDs and Real-Time Timelapses of these images can be purchased from my Storefronts.

EXCLUSIVE ONE-SHOTS
One-Shots have become Exclusive! Once each quarter (during the third month), a One-Shot will be released to Patreon only! There will be four of these exclusive One-Shots over the course of the year. Tier III and Tier IV patrons will be able to read them for free as soon as they are released.

These One-Shots will also get dubs, which will also be exclusive to Tier III and Tier IV Patrons!

Those who aren't subscribed to these Tiers will be able to purchase them via, my Storefrints! This includes a .PDF of the comic, and a downloadable version of the dub!


EPISODIC COMIC ADAPTATIONS
If a certain Series gets enough Support, an Episodic Adaptation of its Comic may get a fully voiced adaptation. This applies to ongoing Series, mainly Weekly Comics.

I've partnered with really amazing VAs to bring some of these Weekly Comics to life! Think of it like a manga getting an anime. Weekly Comics are ongoing, so if one goes into production, each "Episode" will adapt a few pages. Not only that, but there might be some extra story or scenes in the Adaptation that weren't in the original Comic, so there'll be a reason to watch them!

These special dubs will be exclusive to Tier III Patrons and above, or they can be bought on all my Storefronts by Non-Patrons!


DAKKII STACKS
Dakkii Stacks are another Exclusive item I'll do, where a short story is told in two images (like with Peridot's Suspicion & Peridot's Lust).

The first image will be public for everyone, and the second (and often lewder) image will be Patreon Exclusive to Tiers II and above.

However, Tiers III and IV get access to the .PSD files of ALL images! As always, the high quality versions, .PSD files, and Real-Time Timelapse can be purchased as a pack on all my Storefronts by Non-Patrons.
