25 September - job done (nearly!) (Patreon)

So finally after many many hours the chandelier in the dining room is done.  Before as you can see it was VERY grimy.  The challenge was as you can see that it was incredibly dirty with deeply encrusted grime I expect over 40 or 50 years if not more. I attach a screen shot from an earlier vlog so you can see how different it looked before. It looks really different now!  It is so complicated in design and the dirt was so deep it has taken far longer than I possibly imagined to polish. 

We will show a bit more on how it was done in an upcoming vlog.

The big disappointment though was I went to switch it on I it doesn't work any more!  I was really disappointed as after all the effort I was excited to see it all lit up.   I really hope that Steve our amazing electrician will be able to sort it.  My big worry is that the wiring inside the chandelier has gone wrong as that will be very complex to sort out.
