16 September - an exciting date in the diary (Patreon)

I think this is one of my favourite views inside Can Punxes.  I love the framing of the arch against against the elegant curve of the staircase, and the different shades of green.

Good news today - we had the quote in (very reasonable) and now have a date set  (4-6 October) for restorers to come and take samples from the dining room ceiling to see if there is a painting underneath it.  They will set up an inspection platform to do it.  

If they do find something then we won't be able to restore the ceiling until we get the listed building permissions (this is in process but will take many many months) But at least we will know what the colour scheme of the ceiling is which Nessie is very excited about.   We will explain more about the listed building process in our monthly update as it is an important area we need to navigate.

What do you think of those bedrooms!?  I think this place could be stunning. I do hope someone takes it on and makes it amazing.

ps I have just noticed the photograph number 25 in the listing.  Any ideas what that is?  It looks like something scientific .
