Matt has nailed those awkward attention-seeking quirks that like your little brother or an inexperienced public speaker might have. The quick glances at the camera but being unwilling to maintain eye contact, the occasional overcommittment to an awful joke, the awkward laughs when he says something that he thinks should land but just doesnt. He had similar vibes in that video with meatcanyon where he almost got molested by Papameat and Ryan. Man is an artist.
