I try and picture stuff from her point of view there. Especially when she and Kelly venture through the worlds of magic, which Sanya has learned to accept and be in. And now, with Kelly around, things are getting called into question, and truths and facts she believes in start to crumble around her. I'd venture that get the better of most folks. :)

I like to think Kelly was able to deflect and hold on to the curse thrown at her, gaining an understanding of it as she handeled it, and dunked it on the Elder Witch. But thinking she was able to reverse the curse effect through shear force of will is fun too. Either way it happened, Kelly was able to subvert how magic was supposed to work. Deflecting a curse that hit her square on, or just shrugging it off. Neither should be possible in the ways magic works currently. But, as you know, Kelly gets to cheat the system. ;)
