The Museum of the Moving Image had an exhibit titled "To the Moon and Beyond: Graphic Films and the Inception of 2001: A Space Odyssey" where they displayed a variety of notes and concept art for the film that were done by a company named Graphic Films. Graphic Films had made the film To the Moon and Beyond that was screened at the World's Fair and inspired Kubrick to hire Con Pederson and Douglas Trumbull to work on his film.
