The extremely long production of Apocalypse Now would begin with Francis Ford Coppola taking on the most complex sequence in the movie and quite possibly one of the most complex sequences ever committed to film–the Valkyries sequence. Colonel Kilgore's men invade a North Vietnamese village to both escort Willard and the crew to the mouth of the river leading to Kurtz... and to surf.

We are going to try to pull back the curtain and look into the story behind the making of this sequence and all of the massive problems that arose during its filming.

Thanks for another great video. The PDF was also good. I enjoyed the storyboards and shot sequence.

Hi Tyler, Thank you so much for releasing the first video of the famous Helicopter attack sequence. This is for me the Christmas present that I was waiting for. I love it, I can watch this video multiple times because you put so much great information in them. For example, I was totally not familiar with all the details you mentioned of the military advisers. I loved it. And as a last, thank you for mentioning me at the end of the video, that means truly a lot to me. Have a great new-year 2022 Tyler. Best Jacob Joosse
