William Friedkin's 'The Exorcist' is often said to be the scariest movie of all time, but if you’re like me, you grew up in a world where 'The Exorcist' was already a classic and you’ve probably seen all of the references and parodies before actually watching the movie. In 1973, lines to see this film adaptation of William Peter Blatty's acclaimed novel would stretch as far as the eye could see and there were tons stories of people vomiting and passing out in the theater.
