Hi Cinematyler, Thank you so much again for releasing a new video of Apocalypse Now. This section of the film is probably one of my favorite sequences I have ever seen. It’s so breathtaking what we all see. And like as you say yourself, this is basically an introduction to the crazy war of Vietnam. I also love the line you say, ‘’Painting with reality’’. But that is exactly how this sequence was shot. This moment has so many details, it’s insane. Every time when I am watching this sequence I see something new. And in my opinion, I like the name Kilgore more than Kharnage. But still, what an amazing performance of Duvall. Ow and I bet that you already know this story. But several pilots didn't want to fly too low because they were scared to make it dangerous for themselves. So if helicopters are in a scene, you could think next time that there are perhaps 3 more helicopters above the other helicopters. Thank you again, and I am very looking forward to the next video. Yours truly, Jacob Joosse

Hi Jacob! I’m so glad you liked the video! Kilgore’s introduction is one of my favorite scenes as well. There is always something new to see in the background and it really gives a sense of realism to the space that CG never could. You really get the feeling of Coppola’s intended scope with what could have been a simple introductory scene and seeing it on the big screen is like experiencing it for the first time all over again.
