Giant Sparkplug

Good job. Loved the "eye montage." Perhaps you should have introduced the "Dawn of Man" earlier in the trailer (or not at all.) I found it a little jarring. Others I've talked to think you have to include it or theater-goers will be terribly confused by the first 20 minutes of what they thought was a space movie. Maybe use an ape scene that has the monolith in it to tie it together. I also liked the use of the monolith throughout and great job with the music!

Thanks! When I started making it, I was going to cycle between Dawn of Man, TMA-1, and the Jupiter Mission, but it felt really messy and convoluted. I actually added that one clip from Dawn of Man last because I felt bad for neglecting the sequence. You're right though-- it might have been better to focus just on the space parts.
