Hi everybody! I'm hard at work on the last video in the series on the screenwriting of A Clockwork Orange, which should be done by early next week or so. I'm on minute 13 of around 21 minutes.

I've been messing around a bit with doing those edit exploders, which I want to incorporate in some future videos. Here is the end sequence of Alien (1979) where you can see the various camera setups and duration of shots. I've seen a couple of these around and it seems like a great way to visualize how great sequences were constructed. I'm still working out how to streamline the process.

Anyway, I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's Eve! I'm really looking forward to making some cool stuff in 2019!

Thanks so much for your continued support!

Neat! I did this once (before YouTube) with a scene from North by Northwest.

No, just the first library scene with Cary Grant and James Mason. I was recreating the sequence with some friends and wanted to know what coverage Hitchcock used.

Ah, such a great scene! There's so much going on with the eyes in that scene. I've always wanted to ask Hitch why he chose that high-angle shot. Perhaps it was too difficult getting all three of them in one shot otherwise.
