A few years ago, I visited an exhibition on French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier at the De Young Museum in San Francisco, California. Gaultier is known for designing clothing for musicians, runways, and fashion editorials, but I was surprised to find out that he also designed the costumes for Luc Besson's The Fifth Element. Here are a few photos from the exhibition. (Sorry for the poor quality photos.)

They had the actual Ruby Rhod costume worn by Chris Tucker in the film.
