(A prequel to Cyberfat 2099)

In the near future, when oil and gas became rare and more expensive, people began looking for more. Around this time, the obesity epidemic was growing out of control and people weren't only growing fatter but gassier as well. Tests showed that the wind broken by fat people was growing in frequency and potency.

Hoping to capitalize on this, major fuel companies hired scientists to find a way to turn slobby obesity into a power source. They created a serum based on pork, dairy products and marijuana that encouraged laziness, weight gain and intestinal problems while also creating new medications that eliminated most of the negative effects of weight gain. Engineers created new engines and vehicles that ran on flatulence and built machinery and cybernetics that allowed fat people to remain mobile at any weight. All resulting the the obese population's skyrocketing and the gas they produced became far more stronger, to the point where it could now be considered a viable fuel source,

The end result of this was the creation of "human methane." Fat people across the country were employed to eat and break wind into specially designed methane tanks. Obese people who were immobile effectively "worked" from home by sending canisters of their gas to fuel companies. Some rich people even kept "harems" of fat women who were hired to sit around their mansions in skimpy clothes, stuff their face with expensive food and produce fuel for their employers' many expensive vehicles, their wealthy bosses believing that their high priced meals produced a high grade form of gas.

Many believed that this "fart fuel" was lewd and disgusting, but their protests didn't stop the practice from becoming just almost as common and profitable as gasoline.
