October Is A (Spoooooky) Month (Patreon)

I skipped stream today so i could be a little more organized for the October sketch stream when it starts: we are still going to get four weekends this month to get a lot of sketches done so it should work out just fine: the stream focus will be "Witches" but I plan on being pretty flexible about it. More or less just a theme instead of going too hard on rules.

Although I technically did a October themed comic just before the month start; I still wan to do something Halloween focused for my own characters (Loot and Biscuit haven't really had a chance lately and I could always do a pumpkin princess thing - I haven't done that in a while).

So yeah first sketch stream for the month will be Sunday October 8th. Theme be witches.

I'm disappointed its been so difficult to get the Private Island comic to come together but I have been having that problem with larger comic ideas in general lately: Too many cooks had that issue also afteral. But I still have a list of illustration prompts and gestures to fall back on and can just do shorter comic ideas to tide you all over until I can work out the kinks in my ideas.

The sketch commissions have been good for me though: works as a better commission setup for me personally while I try and get other projects to come together and not get burned out. So I would like to keep them going for as long as there is interest.

other side notes include needing to move my content off of Twitter. Because of everything making that site less and less usable as a platform. I have a Bluesky I haven't really started using a couple others I need to set up, and I don't want to have to moderate a personal discord but it might come to that. Or at least share one with Sugarbug or something. We shall see.
