Characterization!

I'm still pretty unsatisfied with this page but its time to post and move on. Once I get to more exciting stuff and not inside a boring apartment living room it will be more fun. The repetition of color isn't helping the layout: I should have stuck with abstract colors or backgrounds for one of the panels. Ah well, learning experience, and I have done way too many iterations of this page as it is, I need to keep moving forward instead of getting stuck on one page.
