Though I'm aware that your original intent with the pose and composition didn't quite yield the feel you were going for, the work you've put into this picture shows. The folds in the fabric feel clean, but convincing, almost tangible. Soft shading in general seems to be a skill you've mastered quite well. I'm not quite sure what it is in how you draw ponies that attracts me to them so. Whether it is in the anatomy of them, a crispness in the curvature of your linework, or the cute expressive faces that draw the attention to them, there's something incredibly sweet and appealing about your artwork.
