Old Dashu Sketch (Patreon)

I was opening old files tonight and I saw this one – holy shit what an abomination. I remember I had mixed feeling with it, it was like: "It's ok, I like it, I guess but I have a feeling there's something wrong with it...".

It's like having that piece of code you can't deny doesn't work but at the same time you have no idea why, because everything makes perfect sense for you and you have no idea what could you possibly change to fix it. It's not like there's a problem you don't know how to fix – you just don't see any problems. Tonight, I've opened the file and when I saw it, I couldn't believe I actually posted it to the public...

I've decided to refresh it without looking back at the original and here's the result. I still would do some tweaking to it but I'm quite happy with it and I don't have that feeling I've mentioned before. I'll look at this few months later – I wonder if this will happen again, maybe I'll draw 3rd generation :x
