I would like to have you guys feedback about my in-game look presentation.

Because there are just models, I always kept in mind to voluntarily keep my scene presentation really simple / light, for multiple reasons :

  • 📝 To have the less dependencies possible required for the user to download (no environment assets, no music, no animation, plugins, etc)
  • 💻To have the least CPU angry model presentation especially for low-end PC and/or VR users (unchecking clothes' sim when possible, reducing hair physics by a lot, no background images, etc)

I always thought it was the route go to, but I was wondering lately what you guys were thinking about that.

A) as long as the model itself isn't affected. I don't care about other scene assets or lighting because I'm just going to port the model into another animated scene.

If anything, I always get super annoyed by creators that put the atrocious magicactions plugin on their characters. It ruins/slows down the entire scene when you run VR, making it near impossible to view it normally (without having to purchase a 1000 dollar videocard). Especially those morons that turn on "anti aliasing" within the plugin, which forces your VR eyes to be split into two, it's the worst. Only reason I open up a models scene i to save her appearance to import into custom scenes, for then to never reopen the "default" scene you created for her again. It's a huge waste of time, which would be better spend creating/tweaking the actual models themselves.
