Hello everyone! 

Apologies about the delay regarding this update, it's certainly been a week. 🥲

TL;DR - Otakon was a thing, but pretty good! May and June rewards have arrived and I'll be shipping soon! Shop update later this month. Blizzcon stuff.

✨ Otakon overview ✨

This past week Senzyri and I traveled to Washington, DC for Otakon! This was probably my largest anime convention so far. I'm very grateful I got a chance to experience it and I hope I get to go back next year! I got to see so many cool artists and bought way too much stuff!

Otakon artist alley tables are pretty strictly 50/50 fanart so I had to be selective of what I took with me. This led me to make a few new mini prints of older original art to even things out a bit. I'll likely be adding these to the shop eventually, along with larger versions as print on demand options. :)

It was wildly busy and I even met a ton of Warcraft fans! I was so excited to get to geek out a little bit with some new friends. I'm always surprised at the amount of WoW fans I meet, yet there never seems to be any other artists with WoW art.

After the convention concluded we went to go see the Barbie movie, where I promptly left my phone in an Uber (it slipped out of my bag) and they essentially extorted me to get it back. 🥲 I would have gladly given them a large tip for returning it, but the way it was handled was very icky to me. The next day we bummed around the Natural History Museum and a cute shopping area until it was time for our flight in the evening. Unfortunately our flight got delayed twice and ended up being canceled due to the runway closing super early at DCA. ;_; Delta was awesome though and gave us each our own hotel room and enough meal vouchers to get breakfast the next morning. I got back home around 2pm yesterday and promptly crashed, I'd been running on limited sleep the entire weekend so some rest was much needed. xD

Overall it went well, despite the few hiccups! My next convention is the Huntington Comic and Toy convention in Huntington, WV on the 12th and 13th. I'll also be at Indy Popcon this month from the 25th-27th!

✨ July Patreon Overview ✨

I posted this in the previous update, but here's the July rewards! I didn't think anyone would want a croc print, so I repurposed an older work for a new print this month! 🤣

Garrosh was a bit of a challenge for me - I'm used to drawing cute girls and critters. So a bulky orc was something new. I think he turned out okay though! His pose is a reference to some official art he's featured in. :)

For the bonus pin, I chose the Gorgrond Flytrap! I felt it went well with Garrosh as a mini set, plus I just think they're neat. *insert Marge Simpson meme here* 

Cros is love, Croc is life.

I broke my toe a few weeks ago, and Crocs were the only shoe I could comfortably wear for a little bit, so it inspired this drawing. I think it'd be really cute to make little bear croc charms at some point.

The pins arrived literally the day I left for Otakon, so I'll be spending this week packaging everything up! I'm going to aim to have it all shipped by this weekend, but no later than Monday the 7th. If you've recently moved or need to update your address, please do so by Friday, August 4th!

✨Blizzcon / CBTS News✨

They've finally announced that there will be no CBTS this year. :( I'm a bit sad about it, but excited that I can get a chance to enjoy the con for once! So if you're going, let me know! I'd love to meet up with anyone and say hi. :) Maybe we can plan an official mini meet up of some sorts.

Despite the fact there will not be a CBTS, I'd still like to do a couple Blizzcon themed items! I'll likely have them up for preorder at a later date. You'll be able to pick them up from me in person at the convention or I can ship them to you. ^.^

Thank you all so much for your continued support! I've had to focus more on conventions to make up for lost income thanks to the economy, but I still consider you all my main support and I'm forever grateful to you all. I wouldn't even be able to do conventions without this pin club! Thankfully convention season is almost at an end for me, and I'll be hard at work trying to make cool things for you all. 😤 I hope you all are ready for them, because I'm super excited for them.
