This series is a little different from our usual fare - no battles or outflanking manoeuvres, but much discussion of constitutions and political reform instead! I hope you will nevertheless find it engaging and informative. I look forward to your feedback (about one sequence in particular, which you will know when you see it...)

Typos for Merch is in effect - first person to spot one gets any item from the store.

Just a reminder of our upcoming schedule:

  • The Decembrist Part 2
  • Discussions and votes on next Napoleon topics: 1 mini-series, 1 special.
  • 1848 - Year of Revolutions
  • HMS Victory - 2 episodes
  • More Napoleon videos!

Thanks again for all your amazing support, and I'll be back with more updates soon. Don't forget you can fire me any questions on any topic either here in the comments, or by direct message on Patreon.

Very, very thrilling episode of a less known movement. Just one thing on the map showing the intended federal structure, are you shure about the provinces Don and Ukraine? Would make more sense to me if both would be switched by one another, the Don river is not located that far in the west.

Thanks Eiko! This is a very good point. I know exactly why it's happened, because Muravyev gives the capital of Don region as Cherkassy, and the capital of Ukraine as Kharkiv, so I've based the regions on the capital cities and forgot about the names. I'm going to redo this map. I'm very happy to count this as a typo, I will message you about your prize!

Glad I could contribute something ! I checked out the location of both cities too and its totally understandable how it influenced the map.
