No pitched battles in this episode (just a little one at the beginning), but instead some intriguing (and disastrous) personality clashes, some intricate negotiation, plus the sack of a great city and a very brutal execution.. (extra little fact that didn't make it into the script: we actually know this man's name: Bourkentios. And after describing his gruesome end, Procopius drily adds, 'Thus did Bourkentios profit from his love for money.')
