Very excited to bring you guys this update out! So what's new and what's changed? If you don't want to go through the lengthy list of patch notes, here's some major keystone changes in the update:

More realistic vehicle engine sounds

It's basically my attempt to make vehicles sound a bit better compared to the built in ingame sound support for adding sounds to all the vehicles.

New Vehicles
With this update I've introduced 4 new vehicles adding more diversity in selecting your next apocalypse vehicle!

Phantom
Rivals Old Coupe in speed, can hold 2 passengers, but eats decent amount of fuel.


Old Van
With decent cargo space, room for one passenger, this is a nice medium cargo hauling beast of a vehicle, comes in lots of different and interesting color variations, good luck hunting the one you like!


Police Cruiser
This will probably be my favorite vehicle, because I've been wanting a classic looking police vehicle to bring some nostalgia back from the old movies right into the game. Holds 4 people and has decent cargo storage with balanced fuel consumption.


Ambulance
You can now finally roleplay a doctor of the apocalypse with this one, second seat, which is the first passenger seat puts the player actually in the vehicles gurney, on top of that it can hold up to 6 passengers, but it's pretty terrible at off-roading and doesn't hold as much cargo as the Van.


More storage!
For a long time storage solutions in Undead Legacy were all over the place with no clear path of progression, which I tried to address with this new update introducing storage solutions for all tiers, including ones craftable in the backpack and with spacious ones made out of titanium!


More signs!
Added a small collection of some monitor screens as editable signs.


Workbench Tier 2 and 3
Following the footsteps for the long term goal of having at least 3 tiers for all workstations, two new tiers for it has been added.


New vehicle mod - Shock Absorber
Allows for motorized vehicles to carry more storage, stacks with Vehicle Cargo Extension Mod


Timed charges in radial menu
Use timed charges precisely to open high security locks through radial menu! Traders should sell more of these in the new update as well.


POI gas_station_01 updated.
Updated this POI with inspiration on how I changed it in A19 with some new tweaks to it.



Balancing
I'm aware that Undead Legacy feels very grindy, so I've tried to address some of the issues brought up by the community and adjusted a lot of crafting recipes, their times, where things are crafted as well as loosened up restrictions on lockpicking tiers and at what level containers can be picked. Research Data costs on many Schematics, Blueprints and Recipes have been reduced as well as researching time for most of them.

  • Changed all custom vehicle engine sounds to use new realistic engine sound system
  • Changed all zombies except crawlers and spiders to have random movement animations
  • Changed all zombies to have random movement speed multiplier
  • Changed Speedometer scale from 60kmh/40mph to 90kmh/50mph
  • Changed Timed Charges to be a bit cheaper to buy
  • Changed gas_station_01 POI
  • Changed emergency vehicle siren to be dynamically added to transform
  • Changed emergency vehicle siren sounds
  • Changed POIs containing vanilla ambulance
  • Changed Table Saw can now be repaired
  • Changed Steel Pickaxe model
  • Changed chance for traders to sell solar cells and solar banks to show at any special stash tier

  • Reduced cost of clay for making Cobblestone and Brick block shapes
  • Reduced cost of T1 Artisans Station Schematic recipe
  • Reduced cost of T1 Forge Schematic recipe
  • Reduced cost of T1 Furnace Schematic recipe
  • Reduced cost of Frame shapes
  • Reduced cost of Crucible Schematic
  • Reduced economic value of T2 Maintenance Station
  • Reduced craft times for many recipes that took very long time to craft
  • Removed quality loss upon failure of upgrading items
  • Removed Police Sedan (vanilla sedan) recipe using Police Lights item
  • Removed Organic Waste from loot and trade
  • Removed Cobblestones resource item

  • Fixed Russian localization errors
  • Fixed Field Medic Perk not working as intended
  • Fixed Junk Drone and its mod schematics not being sold by the trader
  • Fixed Stamina Cost incorrectly scaling for Knuckle weapons
  • Fixed Spears not having RNG stat modifiers
  • Fixed Security SUV having lights on by default
  • Fixed Vault shader being too dark with A20 shading changes
  • Fixed Vehicle Fuel Efficiency comparison being inverted in info panel
  • Fixed Bicycle durability and encumbrance stats not shifting to correct position
