I'm very excited to announce another major milestone update for Undead Legacy, introducing a lot of new items, mechanics, quality of life improvements and of course bugfixes!

Here are some of the highlights of changes

  • Lockpicking overhaul
    Introducing new way to pick locks, but wait, you will also be able to pick open locked doors as well! Lockpicks were also changed to Bobby Pins.
  • Stack locking in inventory
    Ability to lock any stack in the inventory to prevent it from accidentally being transferred to storage. The game will also remember what stacks were locked after reloading the save or rejoining the server.
  • Required material/ingredient highlighting
    Helps you to understand better what ingredients you already have enough or what you're missing in order to craft something.
  • New sci-fi doors
    4 New science fiction themed/inspired doors were added as well as many of the POIs were adjusted to feature these doors to help you navigate and path your way through the right path while traversing through the POI.
  • Better bird nests
    Untouched bird nests now will have a different model than the ones already looted, allowing you to better tell from afar if you've already have checked it or not.
  • New Treasure quest
    The special quest with a special reward from A16.4 was added back in the mod, discover what's the special reward in your adventures!
  • Item changes and additions
    Rebalanced a lot of items and their stats as well as added a bunch of new tools, weapons and resources.
  • More Zombies
    Rebalanced amount of zombies spawned in the wilderness as well as increased spawned zombies during early horde nights up to game stage 160
  • And more

- Added Lockpicking minigame for locked doors and locked containers (Digital doors can't be lockpicked)

- Changed crafting recipe for bobby pins (previously lockpicks)

- Rebalanced spike trap damage

- Updated Red Mesa, Skyscraper, Ranger Station, Gun Store, Factory, Bomb Shelter POIs and more

- Updated Rope, Steel Shovel, FAR-1 icons

- Updated Golconda Animator

- Updated FAR-1 Rifle hold position, reload speed

- Updated starter bug-out-bag contents to have more resources to start off with

- Changed Brick HP from 1200 to 1500

- Changed Brick Block crafting time to 10 seconds

- Changed Stone Spear now requires primitive repair kits for repairs

- Changed Stone Axe model, its stats, it's only good at chopping trees now

- Changed enemy dropped loot despawn time from 20 min to 2 hours

- Changed Primitive Bow to require just 1 bowstring to be fully repaired

- Changed craft times for sci-fi doors

- Salvaging TVs have a chance to give some electronic components

- Salvaging Lights have a chance of giving a light bulb

- Improved code for gaining quest and trading action skill experience

- Increased overall zombie spawns per biome

- Increased overall zombie spawns during blood moons in the early game up to GS160

- Increased chance to get Compact Engines in tool parts loot group

- Increased camera distance when driving with Military Truck and swapped seat 2 and 3

- Increased yield of Empty Can recipe from 3 to 4

- Increased chance of harvesting eggs from birds nests

- Rebalanced Valkyrie Drill, Jackhammer recipes

- Rebalanced Stick and Wood Handle craft times

- Rebalanced cost for making Junk Turret ammo

- Rebalanced nail consumption for some recipes

- Rebalanced 9mm, 5.56mm Ammo as well as vanilla Pistol stats

- Rebalanced Stone, Tazas, Iron and Steel Axe stats

- Rebalanced Stone, Iron and Steel Shovel stats

- Rebalanced Iron and Steel Pickaxe stats

- Rebalanced Nail Gun stats

- Rebalanced Computer blocks to give some electronic component items when salvaged

- Rebalanced Research cost for Quality upgrades

- Removed ability to sell Paint to traders

- Removed Zombie Heat generation for candles

- Reduced custom workstation heat map generation for spawning screamers

- Reduced Coal, Charcoal and Coal Powder weight

- Reduced junk turret regular ammo recipe cost

- Reduced Reinforced Concrete upgrade to Steel cost

- Reduced Reinforced Concrete Variant Helper recipe cost

- Reduced Stainless Steel Variant Helper recipe cost

- Reduced gained Research by disassembling Circuitboards

- Steel Tool Parts vanilla item is now obsolete, removed from loot, trade

- Streamlined all pistol, combat rifle and minigun stats in XML

- Fixed Steel Knuckles giving 50 parts

- Fixed when crafting multiple recipes, that use a water bucket, only one was consumed

- Fixed woodCatwalkRailing1 shape missing for Wood Block Variant Helper

- Fixed meleeWpnKnucklesT3SteelKnuckles giving 50 parts

- Fixed SUV break lights being too bright

- Fixed Traders not selling powered doors
