A quick status update.

First, The Daily Grind : Still going, no sign of stopping.  Might need a break because I used up my seeecret backlog, but I'm enjoying that kind of writing where I stop finding excuses to keep the status quo and just mess with narrative and characters.

Second, Apparatus Of Change : Coming back eventually.  Not now though.  Let me know if you'd like sporadic chapters when I get the whim to write them, or if I should just save it up for actually posting on a schedule later; it's up to you all.

Third, Sublife Crisis : Oh, right.  I wrote something else.  I've told basically no one, so I didn't fall into that human trap of saying a thing and then because I said it, not doing it.  But now, I'm over eighty thousand words written, and I think I can share a little.  And by share a little, I mean start posting chapters.

But what is it?  Well, it's a story about people who can't stay dead.  It's a cozy, slice of half-life, in between, found family thing.  A character study, and a low stakes exploration of immortality, and it's what I started writing when I was in one of my deepest depressive episodes, but what I think it's ended up being is fundamentally a very hopeful little piece.  And I'd like to share it with you all.

I'll be posting here Tuesday/Thursday for a few weeks here, then also posting on RoyalRoad, with five advance chapters here.  Chapters are minimum 4k words, so this is a bit more advance than Apparatus had.  And... I dunno, I hope you enjoy it?  I'm not sure how long it'll be, or if I'll continue it.  I deeply respect the webfic authors who can keep up with three stories at a time, but I am not among them.  It really kind of depends on if it attracts patrons (this sucks, I hate it, but if I can't eat I can't write).

Still, the first chapter will be up tomorrow, and you can get a look at what I've been doing in secret the last couple months.  And as always, thanks for reading my work, and supporting me.  You're all great.

The end is never.

At this point, between Grind, Kill-Sat, and Apparatus, you've firmly earned my trust as a reader. Gonna read anything you put out!
