here is my timed reaction to firefly season 1 episode 12 "message"!

this was a SAD episode, and a rollercoaster one at that!!!

One other thing that makes this episode even more sad, is that while they were filming this episode is when the cast was told that the show was being cancelled. It really sets the tone of the episode and all of the crews reactions during the funeral scene at the end.

It wasn't known to me either but because this show was cut short it ended before they could wrap up the main story lines. There is a movie called Serenity from 2005 that was made to finish most of the main storylines for the main character. Now I have seen it all, it is kind of 'mandatory' to watch after the 14 normal episodes. At least it helped for me to close the Firefly chapter that I really enjoyed.
