WOOOOO and WOW

we made it to the end of the LOTR trilogy!

here is my timed reaction to the lord of the rings: return of the king! an absolute masterpiece of a finale in my opinion!

thank you so much for watching with me!!!! super looking forward to watching the hobbit movies, too!

Christopher Lee (Saruman) was the one of the cast or crew to actually meet author J.R.R. Tolkien. He also went on many missions as a British soldier during WW2. When the stabbing scene was written out for him, he had them rewrite some details in it, having actually seen someone getting stabbed during the war and wanting it to be more realistic

also in case you’re still wondering about how long gollum had the ring, it was about 478 years. i’m not sure how long it took him to be “transformed” into gollum but it was definitely a while

Gollum had the one ring over a span of over centuries and so took his transformation probably a few decades

Btw the flying creatures aren't dragons they are called "fell-beasts". You'll meet a dragon in the hobbit
